The 47th Annual Koonwarra Merino and Poll Merino Stud's Ram Sale will be held on Wednesday 25th September 2024 at 1pm at Little Range, Boorowa, NSW. Inspections commence at 10am.
 

On offer will be 120 fine/medium and medium May/June 2023 drop unhoused horn and poll Merino rams.
 

An open day will be held on Friday 20th September 2024 from 10am to 4pm on farm at Little Range, Boorowa. Private inspections can be arranged by contacting Jono or Charlie.
 

Individual and current information of each sale ram is available in the sale catalogue, Excel document and on cards above the individually penned rams. Available data includes each ram's micron, S.D., C.V., GFW% and comfort factor plus sire/family and current bodyweights, along with meat indexes and ram power indexes.
 

Mid-side samples were taken in early August 2024 and fleece tested by Riverina Wool Testers. The rams were shorn on 19th April 2024 for their greasy fleece weight percentage. Their bodyweights and meat scanning were done on 11th September 2024.
 

These rams have been paddock reared on grass with access to grain feeders, but have not been shedded, ensuring these young rams are acclimatised to natural conditions, be it weather patterns or grass availability. They are in good working order and well grown with good body weights. On sale day, these paddock raised rams will be 15 months old and will have 5 months wool on them.
